Warrior/Mo and whats Runes?
I never even bothered with runes till just the other day. And i really don't know what im doing. And i prolly wasted money on buying some. I already had a minor Vigor on my legs and i know it says non stacking....but i thought it was for on the same piece of armor. So i spent 1,700G and bought another and put it on my chest and realized it ment....no stacking with the whole set. Right now i have the Platemail 80 armor set. with 1 Minor Vigor ( +30hp ) and Vitae ( +10hp ) on everything else. 580hp 23E
I like to solo ( no h/h ) and i would really like to be able to take on mobs to go farm. Im not sure what to farm right now at this point. Im not sure what sells good. But i can just barely take on 1 Hydra. Warrior seems to be a class thats less confusing to me and is the one char that im further in the game with. I just finished the 1st mission at Ember Light Camp and stuck at Ring of Fire.
What i wanna know is what should i invest into to improve my warrior and make him a pure soloist. He's started on Prophecies and im a lil in Factions.
Warrior/Monk
Healing Prayers 9 ,Strength 2, Swordmanship 12 + 1, Tactics 6
Frenzy, Sever Artery, Sun n Moon Slash, For Great Justice, Blank , Vigorous Spirit, Healing Signet, Healing Breeze
Sword:Sundering Scimitar of Fortitude (gold )
Shield:Ancient Shield of Endurance (gold)
I do have a Cruel Sephis Axe of Warding ( gold) But i liked swords cuz the bleeding effect.
Is there a point to getting elite armor? The armor stats are the same?

Elite armors have the same stats as normal max armor.
For runes use minor strength and sword or whichever weapon you are using at the moment.

1. You cant solo GW as a game, you can only solo certain areas with particular builds: www.pvxwiki.com
2. For insignias (they prefix your armor) place survivors as they are your best bet. Runes grab a superior absorption, a minor of your weapon type (put on the helm so you can just switch the helm and be good to go for another weapon type) the rest you can decide on your own depending on what you need.
3. Please, please, PLEASE! remove the monk skills from your bar, particularly healing breeze it makes me cry to see them there.

Well i didn't mean to solo the whole game i was referring to farming sorry i didn't say that exactly before in my post. What is wrong with the Monk skills? And i use Healing Breeze alot. Im willing to try something else if you have anything in mind. I already ascended so i can change my sub prof.
If max and elite armor are the same....whats the point of spending 15k for each piece along with the number of items it cost to make it? Looks?
I added superior absorption and survivor to chest, arms, legs. feet. My helm says sword stacking +1 can i still add a rune that says non stacking sword+1 to it?

Altair,
There are a few farms that you can do as a W/Mo, but in general, regeneration is not as good as straight heals. Regen can help mop up little bits of damage here and there, but it's not good for keeping your HP up through a fight unless you are going to be facing lots of degen.
As far as Max Armor vs. Elite Armor, you are exactly right. Elite Armors are crafted using more expensive Crafting Materials and they cost more per piece to make as well - all for the look. That's it. Max Armor that you can get at Droknar's Forge (Prophecies) and in Kaineng Center (Factions) costs much less per piece, and usually uses less expensive materials. The only thing you'll be missing is the appearance of the armor.
To find information on what Farms are viable for a Warrior, hop over to the Farming subforum and use the Search Function - something like "Warrior Farming Builds". Also, like Kerwyn suggested, check out PvXWiki.com and check their Farming Builds section.
Since I don't know what campaigns you have, I can't give you any more detailed information.

Oh no. Frenzy with no cancel stance.
Aside from what Tyrael said about heath regeneration not being sufficient healing, frenzy + heal sig will lead you to a fast death.
My suggestion: look at www.pvxwiki.com and go to the farming section for warriors. It will tell you the equipment you need to use and what skills you need and even how to use them.

Idk i just assumed that regen would be better less energy i had to spend and the signet i would use for a straight heal. It just seemed to work for me...for the most part. I have Trilogy so i have factions and nightfall. Im still fairly new to this game....a lot has changed since i last played it ( when the core game came out ) Ill check out those other things you mentioned, thanks for the info. Anythin else you can think of i'd appreciate it.
Shrimz,
Like i said above im still pretty new to this whole game again. Just before a fight i cast Vigorous and then when i get to the fight i use Frenzy and then my other skills....oh in the blank spot i use some defence skill. When ever you block you get energy back. I live pretty long.

There are a few builds that you can use to farm melee based enemies. Such as trolls and minotaurs or even UW and FoW. Taking Dolyak Signet will help tank a lot, although you can't run away if your dying. You should try to cap Hundred Blades or Defy Pains because those are elites in which some war farming builds revolve around.

It's Bonetti's Defense is what i use....its nice when im getting attacked by a bunch of mobs cuz my energy shoots up and i can cast healing breeze over n over to stay alive. I was practicing doing it in the mission at Kryta and i switched to using a axe.
I heard about caping but really didn't know how to do it. Ill look it up here in a lil. Really appreciate your guys info/insite .

You really need gash with that sever artery, the bleeding condition is quite weak unless it's tied to deep wound.
Sever artery --> gash --> sun and moon is quite a strong spike, unlike sever artery --> sun and moon.
Axes have dismember to get deep wound, it's slightly weaker than the sword equivalent but is faster and harder to counter.
Also whenever you can, replace frenzy with flail for pve unless you're going to be using blocking stances the whole time.
